Reporting bugs on the Internet Archive website |
In the absence of a comprehensive help page or any sort of technical support at the IA I need to find out where is the best place to report bugs found on the Internet Archive website. I don't mean bugs with the archived material, I mean bugs with the website itself.
The main bug I need to report is that the support of OpenID in the Virtual Library Card Accounts seems to be broken.
I have also found that the RSS feeds for many of the forums listed on the Forums page
http://www.archive.org/iathreads/forums.php are not feeding any updates, an example is the feed for the Announcements forum

Re: Reporting bugs on the Internet Archive website |
Thanks for the quick reply Jeff. I would suggest you have a quick click through of the RSS feeds for all of the forums. At least three of them that I click on were not feeding any updates.
In regard to reporting bugs. Thank you for the information, this does however seem like a very onerous task for whomever is at the end of info AT archive.org. Wouldn't it be better for the IA to use some bug tracking software like Trac or Bugzilla. Surely it would make it easier for IA staff to manage the bugs and to reduce duplicate bugs being emailed into the staff.
